ENSEMBLE CHOIR

Ensemble presents a stimulating, comprehensive and significantly more demanding program in music repertoire and skills, as well as increased and varied performing experiences. The personal commitment of each chorister and his or her family is vital to maintain the quality of rehearsal and performing skills of this level.

There is concentration on more complex and challenging music and higher and more demanding expectations in sight-singing skills. Comprehension and vocalizing of musical phrasing are more complex. Vocal technique is expected to become more consistent. Agility and practice are necessary to hear and learn music in more foreign languages. There are high expectations of the development of chorister independence in work and in rehearsal techniques. An ambitious schedule of performances allows Ensemble choristers to offer their music to the greater Spokane area, and to share their talents and musicianship.
